Industry Partnerships

Kansas Castings partners with agricultural implement manufacturers, offering financially viable alternatives to fabricated or machined parts through iron castings made for strength for farm equipment as well as castings designed for abrasion resistance as tillage equipment.

Kansas Castings manufactures parts made of ductile iron and gray iron for transportation equipment manufacturers to their specifications for strength. These castings can be machined to the customer’s tolerance specifications.

Featured Work

Casting of the Year 2025 — Mueller Company Monolithic Bypass

In late 2024, Kansas Castings produced a monolithic bypass casting for the Mueller Company. That part was named the 2025 Casting of the Year at the American Foundry Society annual convention in Georgia — recognition for the design, the pour quality, and the partnership behind it. It is the kind of work we are proud to do for customers who need a difficult part poured cleanly and consistently.

Cross Slot — US Manufacturing Partner

Kansas Castings partners with Cross Slot, a New Zealand-based agricultural equipment manufacturer, to produce castings for their US sales launch. Cross Slot’s no-till seed drill technology is recognized worldwide for accuracy and crop yield. By manufacturing the cast components domestically, we help shorten Cross Slot’s supply chain to North American farmers and shorten lead times for replacement parts.

If you have a casting program — domestic launch, sourcing transition, or a new part — that needs a partner who pours, cleans, machines, and ships under one roof, call (620) 488-2282 or email orders@kansascastings.com.
